I live in Utah. You don't have to travel far to get photos ofall types here in Utah. It is a beautiful state. Some people
ask me why I do photography. I do it because I enjoy it. It is always a challenge to go out and hope that I'm going to get that one perfect photo, I like to refer to as "A Wallhanger". When you capture such a photo, it makes the traveling and the waiting worth it. The Great Ansel Adams said, "You don't take a photograph, you make it." I get just about as much enjoyment post processing my photos and bringing out the images I tried to capture the way I saw them. There is nothing like the reward of sitting for hours waiting for a bald eagle to lift from its perch and take flight, and to capture that moment, or to wait that extra 12-20 minutes or so after sunset to see if your sky turns beautiful or not. Many times it doesn't, but when it does! What a great feeling! I love photography. I hope you can see that in my photos.
